This Is Practical, I Swear!

I love surfing the internet.  You never know what you will find.  Now, just because I post it here, doesn't necessarily mean that I need to have this.

Women love shoes and handbags.  Why? They always fit!  So, like most women, I love to look at the designer shoes and purses, but these are a bit ridiculous.   Valentino is one of my favorite designers, but these shoes are a bit much.  With a price tag of a mere $4700.00, these are over the top.  Don't know when I could wear something like this and I would have to wear them everyday for the rest of my life to justify the price.  They would look great with  my sweats, standing in front of the kitchen sink, washing dishes.  I think that the cats would love all of the bits of lace...they could chase me around the house for hours.

 

Now belive it or not, this turtle is a purse.  Judith Leiber purse to be exact.  Covered in Swarovski crystals, it is truly a work of art.  I think that most women would agree that a beautiful beaded purse is a necessity in a woman's wardrobe.  Something to carry your lipstick and credit cards for a night out on the town.  I'm not sure how a turtle fits the bill.  I would think that if you are a collector, you would keep this in a glass case for people just to look at.  And with a price tag of $5295, this one won't be sitting in any glass case in my house! 

 

Now if I could have any Judith Leiber purse and not have to think about cost, this is the purse I would love to have.  This one would fit the bill: beautiful colors, very feminine and a work of art.  Of course, I still won't be getting this one. I would save $1000 over the turtle, but that is still $4295 more that I can spare!

Are Words Really Necessary?

So Neiman Marcus sent out an email the other day......and now I have something else to add to my wish list. Wouldn't this make a nice knitting bag? But at $1595, I think it will have to make do with what I have.

Why another blog?

I know....I hardly keep my knitting blog up to date, so why start another?  Well, since I am on the computer all day, and I do spend some (okay, alot) of time shopping online, I thought this would be a good place to keep track of all the beautiful things I find.  Mostly, I these will be only for me to dream about, but who knows?  maybe I will save some money and find something good on sale.  And maybe I will share my deals.
